Most websites use a website host to interface with the internet. This website uses Bluehost to interface with the internet. Bluehost hosts over 2 million users worldwide.  Like other website hosts, Bluehost automatically collects user log data which includes: 

  • Your IP address, browser type and version, geographic location and operating system version. It also includes any device or other method of communication you use to interact with their services including device identifiers,
  • How you got to their services and any links you click on to leave,
  • Pages you viewed including your interactions with any videos.

Bluehost uses the user log data to provide performance statistics (analytics) back to their subscribers, like this website, to help their subscribers improve the performance of their websites.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely.
